The BlueBook traineeships, also referred to as BlueBook internships, are exceptional opportunities provided by the European Commission. What to Expect from a BlueBook Traineeship

As a BlueBook trainee, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, from policy development and research to administrative support. More specifically you will be:
- Attending and organising meetings, working groups, and public hearings
- Researching, drafting and editing documentation – including reports and consultations
- Answering citizens’ inquiries
- Supporting the management of projects
- Translating, revising translations or researching terminology

Eligibility Criteria and Application Process
To apply for a BlueBook traineeship, you must meet specific eligibility criteria
- holding a university degree
- being proficient in at least two EU languages
- have no prior work experience of any kind, in excess of 6 weeks in any EU institution, body or agency, delegation
The selection process is competitive, with thousands of applicants for a limited number of positions. Therefore, it’s crucial to present a compelling application that showcases your skills, experiences, and motivation for joining the European Commission. Successful candidates will be invited for an interview, after which the final selection is made.
