Join AGORA! | Young Feminist Summer Camp
Introduction
Join “Agora”, the summer camp organised by “The European Women Lobby”, a project that aims to bring together young feminists from all over Europe to Brussels for a 5-day gathering to discuss and explore feminism and learn from each other.
The summer camp will take place from 4 to 8 September and all travel. Erasmus+ programme will cover every accommodation and board costs.
The programme
During these 5 days the participants of the program will collaborate with each other in the organisation of workshops and moments of discussion about feminism and its values.
The main objectives of the project are:
- Connect young feminists from all over Europe
- Create a safe and solidarity space where all participants can express their opinions and discuss different topics
- Explore the concept of feminist leadership and power
- Organise future strategies and actions to achieve the objectives discussed during the meetings
As an intersectional feminist organisation, “The European Women Lobby” is committed to organising a summer camp that reflects and includes experiences that represent Europe in all of its diversity. As such, women of colour and from ethnic minority groups, women with disabilities, from the LGBTQI community and coming from marginalised groups are especially encouraged to apply to this project!
Requirements
To participate in this project, the organisation is looking for participants who meet the following requirements:
- Being a feminist woman between the ages of 18 and 30
- Having experience in the field of women’s rights and gender equality
- Living in a country of the European Union
- Have a good level of English

To apply for this summer camp you must fill out the following registration form by July 23.
