We are Missional Digerati, a Christian non-profit mobile and web application development team dedicated to using technology to deliver the Gospel to every nation. For over 10 years, the team has partnered with missions organizations like Joshua Project, Mobile Ministry Forum, Operation World to build APIs, websites, and mobile applications to reach the unreached. Most recently, Missional Digerati spearheaded development of the UDİ BİBLİYA kids Bible app. Available in English, Russian, and Udi, this app brings Bible stories to life in an engaging and interactive way!

The opportunity:

We have exciting plans for 2025, and are looking for talented coworkers in the development of our newest mobile application: Ruminate.   Ruminate will encourage users to meditate or "ruminate" on Bible verses throughout the day, with push notifications and reminders, AI-generated questions for reflections, and scripturally accurate insights for consideration.  

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword…” (Hebrews 4:12).  We can't wait to see how this tool will sharpen God's people and transform lives!

The high-level:

• Volunteer opportunity to develop AI-powered scripture meditation application
• 9 month commitment, with 2-4 hours estimated commitment per week
• Estimated mid-2025 start 
• Fully remote; work from anywhere, in any country
• Sync with the project team 1x per week via live video call
