ELGS & Sapienza University-Master in European and Comparative Public Law (ECPL)

The European and Comparative Public Law (ECPL) Master’s Program is a one-year inter-university degree jointly offered by the European Law and Governance School (ELGS) and Sapienza University of Rome. Teaching takes place at both the Sapienza campus and the ELGS premises in Rome, offering students an immersive academic experience in two leading institutions.

Program Overview

The ECPL Master (60 ECTS) provides a focused and rigorous introduction to the main areas of European and Comparative Public Law. The curriculum explores EU Constitutional and Administrative Law through a comparative perspective, addressing key themes such as the Rule of Law, EU governance, public policy, environmental protection, digital technologies, public procurement, human rights, due process, and global public law.
The program equips participants with analytical and practical tools to operate within national, European, and international legal and policy environments.

Scholarships and Financial Support

The first, second, and third classified in the final short-list will obtain a reduction of the fee. The first will be granted a reduction equal to half of the fee; the second and third, respectively, will be granted a reduction equal to one-third of the fee. The final shortlist may also be considered for the allocation of additional grants financed by public or private entities.
