Guardavanti is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting solidarity and cooperation both in Italy and in developing countries. As a volunteer, you will engage in various educational activities and support the organisation’s fundraising campaigns and cooperation projects.

• Support global citizenship education activities in schools
• Help the integration of communities of Italian and foreign origin
• Organisation of events to promote the activities of the association
• Help in the management of the Guardavanti website and social networks
• Organisation of activities designed by volunteers

About the organisation

The name of the Guardavanti reflects the need to look toward the future, along with the desire and commitment to help improve the world in which we live. Children are the primary beneficiaries of the future and stand as the clearest symbol of how crucial it is to build that future together, starting today.

The association is actively engaged in development cooperation, cultural integration, and fostering constructive coexistence in solidarity, while promoting fair and sustainable growth. It is a diverse group of individuals, united by shared goals and values, including people from both religious and non-religious backgrounds, all of whom believe in the power of cooperation to create positive change.

Volunteer Profile

• EU-resident
• 18-30 years-old
• Proactive, open-minded, respectful
• Interested in working with children and young people
• Willing to do office and administrative work, knows how to use Microsoft 365, Google Docs, Canva, and Social Media
• Has previous experiences in volunteering
• Has an interest in one of the topics covered by the association: cooperation, interculturality, human rights, education
• Has basic Italian or strong motivation to learn it.
