Study in Europe

To study in Europe is a great opportunity for anyone. It is an experience that enriches a person’s life, both on a professional and personal basis. If you have in mind to go abroad for studying, being it in another European country or in any other place in the world, you might want to get prepared and collect the more information possible before applying for a foreign university.

European Universities

With a multitude of universities, higher education institutions and research institutes, Europe offers thousands of Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral degree programmes. You can choose the international study experience that suits you. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities for exchange programmes and short courses, too.

Moreover, most countries across Europe offer educational programmes in English or in other languages in addition to courses in their official language(s).

The European Commission, in partnership with other institutions, has built an online platform that displays all the available opportunities to study abroad. The platform “Study in Europe” is a European Union program that aims at:

  • Showing students worldwide what studying in Europe offers;
  • Helping international students to find out about higher education study, research and scholarship opportunities in Europe;
  • Connecting European higher education organisations with international students and partner institutions.

The Program

Being part of the Erasmus Plus, Study in Europe is open to the countries participating to the programme: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Slovenia, The Netherlands, The Republic of North Macedonia and Turkey.

Thanks to it, you can:

  • Find out about study, research and scholarship opportunities in Europe: discover everything you need to know as a citizen from outside Europe to plan and complete studies on the continent;
  • Meet European universities and higher education organisations for personal advice about studying in Europe, attending the Study in Europe fairs;

Remember to join the Study in Europe Facebook page for news and views about studying in Europe.
