Are you a young person who wants to boost youth involvement with Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs? The SALTO Participation & Information Resource Centre is searching for young people to join the Youth Participation Strategy (YPS) Steering Group for 2024-2025.
The group is responsible for carrying out, keeping an eye on progress, and evaluating the Youth Participation Strategy.
They offer guidance on activities connected to it and work to encourage and highlight the importance of young people actively participating in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs.

This call is open for young people aged 13-30 who have been involved in the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs.
They should also have experience in local, national, or international youth activities and want to improve youth involvement on a broader European scale.
The steering group will have six youth members chosen from this call, along with representatives from groups like the European Commission, SALTO, RAY network, and National Agencies.

Individual tasks are discussed and distributed based on participants’ competences, experience, learning aims and interests during the onboarding period and throughout the mandate of the steering group.
The primary language for communication is English. Tasks and meetings will take place both online and in person.
The commitment period runs from January 15, 2024, to December 31, 2025.
For this two-year span, participants can expect a payment of 3960 EUR, which covers 12 workdays and includes any relevant taxes.
