Safe Youth – Practical Safeguarding in Youth Mobilities Webinar

Safe Youth – Practical Safeguarding in Youth Mobilities Webinar
7 October 2025 | 11:00–13:00 CET | Online (Zoom)

Making Youth Projects Safer and More Inclusive

Youth workers, trainers, and project organisers across Europe are invited to take part in a free international webinar dedicated to safeguarding in youth mobilities. Over the course of two hours, participants will explore how to better protect and empower young people involved in Erasmus+, ESC volunteering, and other international programmes.

Practical Tools You Can Apply Immediately

The session will offer clear guidance on safeguarding concepts, definitions of violence in youth work, and methods for identifying and managing risks. Participants will also engage with real-life case studies, receive advice on handling unsafe situations, and exchange knowledge with peers in small groups. A special focus will be given to developing or strengthening organisational Child Safeguarding Policies (CSPs).

Safeguarding goes beyond protection. It is about building trust, ensuring inclusion, and creating safe learning environments where young people feel secure and able to grow.

This webinar is designed for youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, project managers, volunteering mentors, and youth coaches. It is particularly valuable for those engaged in international programmes, Erasmus+ mobilities, or ESC volunteering projects, as well as anyone working with young people with fewer opportunities.
