Junior Management Position in Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges with Associazione Joint
Description
Associazione Joint is one of the most experienced organisations in Italy and Europe in the field of Erasmus+ Youth (youth exchanges, training courses and mobility for youth workers).
We are looking for a junior team member to support the management of Erasmus+ youth exchanges (KA152) and youth worker mobilities (KA153), with a specific focus on projects involving disadvantaged young people or youth workers.
The role involves both the KA150 accreditation of Associazione Joint and sending Italian groups abroad. The main tasks include:
managing the sending of groups to youth exchanges abroad and occasionally accompanying them;
facilitating pre-departure and follow-up meetings with participants, both online and in person;
supporting the logistical and bureaucratic management of exchanges hosted in Italy;
participating in the management of ESC teams hosted in Italy;
handling the administrative aspects of mobilities (Beneficiary Module, Youthpass, travel reimbursements, etc.).
Additional activities may include:
delivering online or in-person presentations, especially for those based near Milan;
creating videos and digital content for our social media and website (www.scambiinternazionali.it).
supporting practical aspects during hosted projects, including meal preparation.
Project writing and funding proposal tasks may occasionally be required, but these will not be a main responsibility during the first year.

Job Profile
We will mainly consider junior candidates who are eligible for the Italian Servizio Civile Universale starting from May 2026 (i.e. all young people with residency in a EU member state), and who are interested in an internship or similar prior experience in the field of youth mobility.
Minimum requirements:
- previous participation in one or more Erasmus+ youth exchanges (KA152) or similar international experiences (e.g. international work camps – Erasmus studies do not count);
- willingness to occasionally work on weekends and travel abroad for short periods (5–8 days);
- English level B2;
- Italian level B2;
- readiness to carry out practical or logistical tasks such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, collecting mail, etc;
- the ability to work with computers for long periods is also required.
Preferred requirements:
- previous experience as an ESC volunteer.
- a driving licence and willingness to drive.
- interest in web communication and graphic design.
- own working laptop;
- knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.

Terms and conditions:
This position is primarily aimed at individuals interested in undertaking the Servizio Civile Universale (SCU) with Joint, starting from late May/early June 2026, following an initial collaboration period through an internship or similar arrangement. Total compensation will range from €800 to €1,000 per month, including the SCU allowance of around €500 and an additional reimbursement ranging from €400 to €500, depending on expenses.
Remote work and monthly meetings:
Initially, the work can be carried out remotely. The selected person must be available to participate in activities in Milan or Genoa, even at short notice, at least once per month. Additionally, around nine annual meetings (each lasting four to five working days) are held with the entire team, typically in Genoa or at Cascina EUtopia. Board costs are fully covered, while travel expenses are reimbursed based on travel from Milan or Genoa.
