Supporting Young People’s Active Citizenship and Social Inclusion
Launched in May 2022, these 15-20 minute talks are given by young people with inspiring stories to share on topics ranging from solidarity to social inclusion to sustainability. The talks highlight the benefits of volunteering, civil and civic engagement, and showcase innovative solutions developed by young people.
The Youth Talks, developed as part of the European Solidarity Corps’ General Online Training courses, are in line with the aims of the European Year of Youth through their choice of topics, timing, and nature of activity.
To put it in a simple way, the European Solidarity Corps is a European Union initiative that provides opportunities for young people to engage in solidarity activities. It offers a range of programs and opportunities, including volunteering, traineeships, and job placements, that allow young people to gain skills, experience, and knowledge while contributing to the common good.
