The European Union has multiple ways of providing young people with opportunities like learning, jobs, mobilities, volunteering, internships, training. Those opportunities are also a way in which youngsters have the chance to explore the concepts of democracy, citizenship and participation. Taking part in projects can, therefore, strengthen young people’s sense of involvement, responsibility and intercultural sensitivity both as national and European citizens – values that are crucial to every democratic society. So young Europeans should know their power to contribute and influence the future of Europe.
