Description:
Due to a lack of media education young people become lost in the wide world of the internet. Lack of knowledge and misunderstanding make them vulnerable to data theft, cyber-bullying, hate speech and even mental health issues. Funded by the EU, we want to create a programme where teachers can be trained in an international context to teach media education in their schools through non-formal education methodologies. Every year a media topic will be shared, and schools can customize their own project around this issue and share their development with the network of other media schools.
