Description

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has opened a call for traineeships for recent graduates and young professionals. The traineeships last 6 months and take place at the EIT headquarters in Budapest, with the possibility of being assigned to the EIT Liaison Office in Brussels. A monthly grant of €1,500 is provided, along with reimbursement of travel expenses.

Tasks
Trainees will support the daily operations of one of the following EIT units in Budapest:

  • Directorate & Administration
  • Innovation, Education & Communication
  • Knowledge and Innovation Communities Departments

There is also the possibility of being assigned to the EIT Liaison Office in Brussels.

Job Profile

Who can apply

Nationals of EU Member States, EEA Member States, EFTA countries, and candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, and Ukraine) and the potential candidate country (Kosovo). Ukrainian residents (recent graduates and young professionals) affected by the war in Ukraine are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

- Very good knowledge of English
- Having completed the first cycle of university education and obtained a full degree (or equivalent) by the application deadline
- Not having already benefited or currently benefiting from any traineeship or employment within a European institution or body
- Not having had or currently having any paid or unpaid traineeship, or employment or contractual relationship with the existing Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs)
