To participate, simply ensure that you are registered with the EUAcademy’s OLS language learning platform and use your EU login to submit your entry. How to Participate
To enter the contest, follow these simple steps:
- Create a video sharing your language learning and mobility experience.
- Publish your video on your Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube profile.
- Use the hashtag #OLSCommunityStories in your video description or caption.
- After publishing the video, share the video link and provide the required information through the EU Survey webform. To access the webform, use the same credentials as your EU Academy account used for OLS (EU Login).
- Keep a copy of your video saved on one of your devices in case you are shortlisted for a prize.
Topics to Cover in Your Video
In your video, you have the opportunity to cover various topics related to your language learning experience. Consider addressing the following points:
- Share your personal journey of learning a new language.
- Discuss the language you studied with OLS and your perception of its difficulty.
- Explain how you practised it while staying in the country during your mobility experience, and how you plan to utilise your acquired language skills.
- Describe intriguing aspects of the language you learned and highlight its relevance to your mobility experience.
- Demonstrate your knowledge by sharing basic language learning activities.
- Explain how you would teach essential words or sentences to someone who wants to learn the language you studied.
- Provide valuable advice and tips for language learning.
- Share your most useful learning activity and emphasise the impact of your mobility experience on improving your language skills.

Prizes and Evaluation Criteria
A minimum of 20 videos will be carefully selected and showcased on various platforms, including the OLS Open Area, EU Academy, OLS Newsletter, and relevant European Commission and EACEA websites, as well as EC corporate platforms and social media accounts. Moreover, the 10 most outstanding videos among the shortlisted entries will be rewarded with an esteemed Interrail Global Pass, granting the winners 7 days of travel within one month.
