TRUTH SEEKERS - Youth Exchange

Description

Are you concerned about fake news and online misinformation? Do you want to master fact-checking tools, boost your digital literacy, and gain critical thinking skills while connecting with young people from across Europe?

Truth Seekers brings together young people from 5 countries to explore the digital world, strengthen critical thinking, learn how to verify information, and become active citizens who promote truth, respect, and inclusion.

Dates: October 8–16, 2026

Available Spots: 7 participants (aged 18–30) residing in Spain or departing from a Spanish airport + 1 Group Leader (No age limit).

Partner Countries: Cyprus, Bulgaria, Spain, Latvia, and Greece.

Objectives

1. Critical Thinking: Question, analyze, and evaluate information before believing or sharing it.
2. Media & Digital Literacy: Understand how media works and how information spreads.
3. Fact-Checking: Learn practical tools to verify sources, claims, and digital content.
4. Digital Resilience & Safety: Protect yourself, others, and your privacy in the digital world.
5. Intercultural Dialogue: Discover different perspectives and fight stereotypes.
6. Youth as Multipliers: Use your new skills to inspire and create impact at home.
7. Official Youthpass certificate provided upon completion.

Participant Profile

* Young people aged 18–30, motivated, open-minded, and ready to learn.
* Interested in media, social media, fake news, digital literacy, democracy, human rights, or inclusion.
* Available for the whole duration of the project.
* Residing in Spain or departing from a Spanish airport.
*Advanced English is NOT required, nor is previous Erasmus+ experience. Priority will be given to candidates with fewer opportunities.

    Travel budget from Spain 580€ (That will be the refund). Accommodation & Food fully covered in Melpo Antia Hotel
