What is DiscoverEU?
DiscoverEU is part of the Erasmus+ programme, designed to offer 18-year-olds a once-in-a-lifetime chance to travel through Europe. You’ll receive a free travel pass to explore different countries, experience new cultures, and meet people from all across the continent. Plus, with your DiscoverEU Youth Card, you’ll unlock great discounts on things like food, transportation, and activities.

Who Can Apply?
To qualify, you must:
- Have been born between January 1, 2006, and December 31, 2006.
- Be a citizen or legal resident of an EU country or an Erasmus+ associated country (like Iceland, Norway, or Serbia).
- Complete a quick online application form and take part in a short quiz.
If you’re selected, you can travel anytime between March 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026, for up to 30 days. It’s entirely up to you how long you want to explore!
Travel Alone or With Friends!
Fancy a solo adventure? Or would you rather explore Europe with friends? You can invite up to four friends to join you, provided they meet the eligibility requirements. DiscoverEU also helps you connect with other participants, so you can even team up with fellow travelers for an unforgettable experience.

Become a DiscoverEU Ambassador
