Youth Climate Pact Challenge

My world. My action. Our planet.

The Youth Climate Pact Challenge 2021 is now available for you to join in!

The Climate Pact is a movement of people united around a common cause, each taking steps in their own worlds to build a more sustainable Europe for us all. Everyone is welcome to join the movement, especially young people like you!
The European Climate Pact is part of the European Green Deal and is meant to be a lively space to share information, debate and act on the climate crisis. It offers support for a European climate movement to grow and consolidate.

We’ve already gone through the possibility for young people to take action and play an active role becoming a Climate Pact Ambassador.

Over that, the European Commission moves a step forward to encourage young people all over Europe to take action through the Youth Climate Pact Challenge.

Youth Climate Pact Challenge

The Youth Climate Pact Challenge is your chance to make a difference to the green transition by connecting with others to co-create innovative youth engagement project ideas in the field of climate action.

Set a reminder on your calendar: Tuesday 29th June will be the Climate Pact Day of Action. The event will go fully digital.

It aims to raise awareness of the progress and opportunities in the Pact, encourage pledging, share uplifting stories of climate action and connect people with action in their own country.

You can choose to join one of 4 working groups:

  • Support for young Climate Pact Ambassadors;
  • Stepping up individual climate action;
  • Stepping up youth involvement in climate policy;
  • Education for climate action.

How To Participate

To take part in the event and be able to interact with speakers and participants, register before 28 June 2021. You will have access to the morning session and the National launches shortly afterwards. Alternatively, you can watch the event live online and ask any burning questions using the sli.do tool.

Do not forget to share your participation on social media! Use the hashtag #MyWorldOurPlanet.
